Interlinings
Woven -
These fabrics are made from warp and weft yarns that are interlaced on a loom to create different woven patterns.
Broken Twill: A twill weave where the diagonal line is deliberately reversed at regular intervals (such as every two warp ends), creating a broken or varied pattern.
Satin: Satin has a smooth, shiny face and a dull back. It is made from fine, tightly woven yarns, with four or more weft yarns floating over one warp yarn.
Plain Weave: The warp yarns run lengthwise and the weft yarns run across the fabric, passing alternately over and under each warp yarn. This weave often has slightly more stretch in the weft direction than in the warp direction.
Non woven
Non-woven fabrics do not contain warp or weft yarns. They are made by bonding together a web of textile fibres using different methods, most commonly thermal or chemical bonding. Non-woven fabrics are both practical and cost-effective.
Thermal Non-woven: Created by melting fibres together between heated rollers to bond them.
Chemical Non-woven: Produced by adding a chemical binder to hold the fibres together.
Melt-Blown: Made from very fine, short microfibres formed through a melt-blowing process.
Spunbond: Consists of longer, thicker fibres that provide extra strength, with good fibre uniformity and strong support.
Knitted
Knitted fabrics are created by interlooping yarns to produce a soft and flexible material.
Top Satin: Features a tighter structure, with extra warp yarns added between the knitted yarns for increased density.
Weft-Inserted: A warp-knit construction that offers strong resilience in the weft direction along with good stability and control in the warp direction.
Texturized Knit: The free weft yarn provides elasticity in that direction.
Circular Knit: Made on a circular knitting machine with a 360-degree needle arrangement, forming a seamless tube of fabric with natural stretch.
